Utica is an awesome historic city with wonderful art murals, architecture, and of course a loyal college sports fan base!
Marissa and Dustin chose to have the stunning marble white backdrop of the Utica Train Station for their engagement session. Marissa enjoys the chic and bright atmosphere the station provides, and who doesn’t love a load of marble? I know I do!
Getting them prepared for this session was really simple. For all of my couples, I provide a prep and wardrobe guide. With Dustins ever participating spirit, I watched in glee as Marissa created this stunning vintage look. Her white dress with the pearl accents, and his dark attire, it was absolutely perfect against the marble architecture!
Truth be told, Utica sometimes gets a bad reputation, but all that can be left behind when you take a peak into its historic buildings. I have found that its the perfect setting for portraits of all styles, including engagement sessions, branding, and even bridal portraits for your wedding day.
Marissa and Dustin plan to celebrate their marriage union in the fall of 2024, a stark contrast to early spring, but in my opinion it was the perfect time!
With the bright, spring sunshine in the wide windows of the train station, the white marble and warm lighting come together to create this stunning backdrop for this Utica engagement session.
Take a short peek into this session! Consider a different environment indoors for your next photography session instead of the usual outdoor location.
This entire session spoke to my heart strings the entire time the three of us spent together. Of course my husband was making quirks and jokes behind me the entire time! I almost forgot I was trying to work!
Marissa and Dustin, over time have become not only one of my well favored clients, but great friends of ours! Isn’t that an awesome thing?
