I had the immense pleasure of photographing Nicole and Davis’s Wedding in a cute but quiet venue located in Ithaca, NY. Grit and Grace is this absolutely gorgeous outdoor and barn location in Ithaca, just a short drive from Watkins Glen.

It was known from the start, for a warm, late summer day, this wedding day was filled with bliss, fun and, of course, good old fashioned romance!

If you can believe it, Nicole and Davis met at college and had been inseparable since then. Once in a while, in my career, you can start to read into a couple’s love story. I knew these two were true lovers from the start! They spent the better part of their wedding day laughing, joking, and poking fun at each other, undeniably having so much fun together.

In due time, Boston would soon become this darling and fun couple’s home base. Both of them knew deep in their hearts they would have their wedding day in Ithaca where it all began and were where they could meet in the middle for their big day. All of their family and friends came from all over the country. However, don’t let the micro-wedding fool you – it turns out this wedding party was 22 people in size!

For real? Look at these two! Davis is, without a shred of doubt, smitten with Nicole! Every little detail was perfectly curated for their special day. I honestly can’t get enough! I mean, look at those wildflowers. Could you have guessed she had these grown specifically for her wedding day?!

With some planning and coordinating from Crown Coordination, their wedding day went off without at hitch! They even beat the torrential downpour! The remainder of the day was filled with excitement, barking (go Bull Dogs!), dancing, and tons of love for these two!

Without a doubt, these two are so wildly in love! Evidently, they sure knew how to have a day to remember!
